Feb. 19 – Chocolate Mint Day (This is not the only day devoted to chocolate – see July 7)

MARCH

Mar. 7 – Monopoly board game is invented (1933)
Mar. 14 – National Pi day (3.14)

APRIL

April 1 – April Fool’s Day
April 13 – Scrabble Day

JULY

Third Sunday – National Ice Cream Day

July 7 – Chocolate Day

AUGUST

Aug. 13 – International Lefthander’s Day

SEPTEMBER

Sept. 16 – Mexican Independence Day (it is not Cinco De Mayo!)

OCTOBER

Oct. 1 – National Vegetarian Day (first observed in 1977)
Oct. 9 – National Chess Day
Oct. 31 – (1) National Magic Day, (2) Halloween. And if you believe Linus from Peanuts, it’s the day the Great Pumpkin arrives.

NOVEMBER

First Saturday – Book Lovers Day

DECEMBER

Dec. 28 – Stan Lee’s Birthday (Draw a comic)
